Thanks, you don't include an example line of the display, but I think I understand the issue. When running with '-a', the batch information is displayed on the console: intended use is to redirect the console output to a file in this case, rather than to use the '-r' logging file. (I still recommend using '-Ls0' in this case, otherwise you will get progress info interleaved with the batch info.) I'm starting to think maybe that is not a sensible design, but that is what is happening.
As regards the file size: there are an awful lot of batches. Eugene is using some tricks, including an experimental new option '-fr', to help reduce the size to something more manageable.
