Britannica Online – в статьях „
Special Relativity“ и „
Relativity“ мне встретилось следующее:
Цитата:
Special relativity is limited to objects that are moving at constant speed in a straight line, which is called inertial motion.
Вследствие моего замечания, редакция
Britannica Online внесла изменения в цитируемом утверждении: вместо

стоит
Цитата:
Special relativity is limited to objects that are moving with respect to inertial frames of reference—i.e., in a state of uniform motion with respect to one another such that one cannot, by purely mechanical experiments, distinguish one from the other.
Так лучше, однако определение и.с.о. неправильно... Нужна еще одна итерция

The information in the Britannica Print and Online/DVD products was the same although the articles in the Online/DVD products were formatted differently from the Print articles. This is because we were not limited by the content being searchable by Index and so we could be more flexible in the way that we handled the information.
Bother the Print and Online/DVD databases were managed by the same team of editors and used the same contributors for the creation and maintenance of the content.
The key difference with the subscription service for the Online product is that it disables all of the adverts on the site and ensure that you have unrestricted access to all of the content.
