Dear Professor,
The Icfai University Press (IUP) is a leader in academic publishing with the
largest portfolio of professional and contemporary publications in the areas
of
Science and Technology, Management, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Economics,
Law and Humanities.
One among our publications is "The Icfai University Journal of Physics
(India)" (URL:
http://www.iupindia.org/408/ijp.asp ).
We now wish to publish a special issue focusing on Grand Unification in
Modern Physics, and other related topics including Cosmology, Standard
Model, Fifth Force, Not-yet-discovered particles, Dark Matter and Dark
energy problems and History of Physics (the tentative title of the special
issue is "Einstein and Others: Grand Unification").
We are glad to inform that this special issue shall enjoy the services of
Dr. V.V. Dvoeglazov as its Guest Editor. Only papers written with logical
and mathematical rigor will be considered. However, contributors should be
aware that they should shape their language so as to be comprehensible to
students of physics. In particular, we hope that the authors will present
new ideas which can open the field of debate for free and insightful
discussion. The aim of this collection of essays is also to draw attention
to long-lived problems in modern physics, which must be solved. All views
on the paths of development of fundamental physics are considered by us on
an equal footing, without fear or favor. We kindly invite you to contribute
to the special issue by sending us an article.
All papers should be submitted by e-mail to Prof. V. V. Dvoeglazov
(
editor@planck.reduaz.mx) and to
ijphy@iupindia.org /
info@iupindia.org in
the standard LaTeX format. Papers with figures should also be submitted in
PDF format. Papers should not, in general, exceed 15 printed pages (12 pt
styles).
The deadline for submission is December 1, 2008. The invited papers will be
included in the volume; other submitted papers will be reviewed by 2-3
independent referees. Along with the articles, authors are requested to sign
the attached copyright form and return to us.
Please feel free to distribute this announcement in your University.
V. V. Dvoeglazov, G R K Murty.
(Editors of the Special Issue "Einstein and Others")
